Volunteers
Volunteers are so important to us and without them our events wouldn't be possible. Volunteer opportunities are usually available every month. You can volunteer by selecting the volunteer button on the left. 👈
For more information related to group volunteering, please contact our Chapter Director, DeVonte Harpool via email: theharpools@gmail.com.
Volunteer Expectations
All volunteers must follow all safety and security protocols.
Sign ups: All volunteers must sign up before volunteering at our events. Each volunteer should sign up individually! If you have not signed up you will be required to sign up in person via mobile device. This helps w/ grants, hours reporting, and legal compliance.
Be on time: please arrive on time for your scheduled shifts as we start our events and need prep and training time. Please also stay for the entire shift.
Be respectful: Greet others in a friendly manner, and treat everyone with respect and equity.
Be patient: Some of our clients may come from diverse backgrounds and speak different languages.
If you are sick, please stay home! In the event you can't make it to the event any longer, please cancel your sign-up via email you received and/or notify our team immediately by contacting: theharpools@gmail.com.
Lastly, have fun, and inspire HOPE.
